Client Relations & Intake Coordinator

Nicole Skinner

Nicole is often the very first voice clients hear when they reach out to Minella Law Group, and she takes that responsibility to heart. With more than ten years of experience working in family law, Nicole brings a calm, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable presence to every interaction. She understands that reaching out to a family law firm can feel overwhelming, emotional, or uncertain, and she is dedicated to making clients feel heard, supported, and safe from the very first moment.

Throughout her career, Nicole has worked at several respected family law firms across San Diego, where she managed high-volume caseloads, supported complex dissolution matters, and assisted clients through some of the most challenging chapters of their lives. Her experience includes extensive client communication, scheduling, court coordination, preparation and filing of legal documents, and guiding clients step-by-step through the intake process. Because of this, Nicole has developed a deep understanding of not just the legal system, but the emotional realities that clients face when navigating it.

Nicole is highly regarded for her patience, empathy, and ability to explain next steps clearly and reassuringly. She listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and ensures clients feel comfortable sharing their story. Her goal is to make every individual feel supported, never rushed, and confident that they are in the right place. She believes in treating clients with dignity, understanding, and respect, no matter what circumstances bring them to the firm.

Behind the scenes, Nicole has a proven history of strengthening firm systems to improve the overall client experience. She has created and updated filing procedures, streamlined case management workflows, and enhanced intake systems to ensure clients receive timely, accurate, and organized support. Her attention to detail and dedication to efficiency directly contribute to smoother transitions for both clients and the legal team.

Nicole completed the Paralegal Program at the University of San Diego, giving her a solid legal foundation that allows her to guide clients with confidence and clarity. Whether someone is calling for the first time, preparing for a consultation, or needing assistance with documents or scheduling, Nicole is the steady, friendly, and knowledgeable point of connection who helps clients feel grounded throughout the process.

As Minella Law Group’s Client Relations and Intake Coordinator, Nicole’s purpose is simple: to provide each client with a warm welcome, a supportive environment, and a smooth start to their relationship with the firm. She is committed to ensuring that every person who contacts MLG feels seen, understood, and taken care of — because at our firm, the client experience begins with compassion.
